Basic Usage

Installation & Getting started

  • Install through homescoutapp.com and follow the link to the Chrome Web Store.
  • To see the widget show up, visit Zillow, Redfin, Trulia, Realtor.com, or Homes.com.
  • Quick Add saves a listing by clicking the green + icon in the small HOMESCOUT button.
  • Browse, sort, and review the listings you save.
  • On a listing page, HomeScout always shows that listing in your saved list so you can add or remove it.

Managing basic settings

  • Adjust the position of the tool on your screen.
  • Auto-open settings when quick-adding a single home
  • Clear saved listings whenever you want to reset your list.

Account management

  • Upgrading to Premium is required for Scraping, Syncing, and Publishing.
  • Link a Google Sheet before syncing your listings to Google Sheets.

Feedback & feature requests

  • Click the chat icon on the top bar to send feedback.
  • Your message includes your email so we can reply as soon as possible.

Premium Usage

Upgrading, billing, and cancelation

  • Visit the Account page (the person icon) and click Purchase.
  • Choose a subscription option to complete payment securely in Stripe.
  • Cancel anytime from the same place using the Cancel button in the Admin tab.

PowerScrape

PowerScrape lets you batch-import listings shown on the map in Zillow and Redfin, then copy them into your Saved Listings.
